Hair line rescue

Hair Line Treatment

One of the most common hair problem we as women experience is the Hair Line loss. Why? Well because we ladies like being a little too adventurous with our hair. Changing from this hairstyle to the next in a short period of time.

It could be because we simply want to keep up with all the trends and always look our best but can our hair keep up with all that?

Hair line breakage is usually caused by continuous and excessive pulling on the hair due to various types of hairstyling, such as ponytails, buns, braiding and cornrows. This traction gradually results in hair loss. If this type of traction and hair loss continues for an excessively long period of time ,  the hair loss may become permanent. Firstly you need to stop wearing hairstyles that place strain and tension on your front hair and then apply Hairsavvy Olive oil & Lanolin Hair Food to your scalp daily- especially along the hair line, and massage it in. It strengthens weak damaged hair and stimulates hair line growth. Massage your scalp and hair line for 10 to 15 minutes every day. This will help to increase blood circulation, deliver nutrients to the hair follicles and stimulate growth

Here are some  additional steps to treating your hairline;

1.Stop! Stop! Wearing tight hair styles immediately.
2.Avoid using chemicals.
3.Get into the habit of massaging your scalp daily.
4 Apply natural oils to your hairline , or products which contain coconut oil, olive oil etc.
5. Cover your hairline with silk or satin bonnet before you sleep.

Drying your hair the right way

Attention Ladies!!!! Since drying with heat and curling irons have become part of most women's haircare routine .Always protect your hair by making use of a moisturizing cream before applying any heat to your hair,This will prevent dryness and breakage.
Always keep in mind the four T's when blow-drying your hair :

1.Treatment (rub on a moisturizing cream to protect your hair)
2.Tempreature control ( Keep it low to medium heat)
3.Tension ( Don't Stretch or stress wet hair )
4. Technique ( Keep the blower moving 2-3 inches from your hair).

Five  Tips for Blow-Drying Your Hair

1. You should always detangle your hair with a large-toothed comb, ensure that you start from the ends to your scalp before blow drying. Combing directly from the scalp will result in hair breakage.

2.  Alawys treat your hair with a barrier such as leave-in conditioner , moisturizing cream or antifrizz serum before blow-drying , to protect it against the heat and will also boost the shine.

3. Blow Dry your hair in sections , starting from the centre moving to the top.

4.Avoid Overheating your hair by sitting underneath the dryer for more than 10 minutes in order to remove excess water before using the Blow -dryer.

5. To avoid scorching the hair , keep the blow dryer moving at all times and avoid placing the dryer directly on your hair.
